How to use ESLOC BC 4 Operation Theater Disinfectant ?

HIGH-RISK AREAS

High Risk Areas:

• The following sections of the hospital are considered as high-risk areas: Operation theater or OT, Intensive care unit or ICU, Intensive care unit or NICU, Cardiac Catheterisation lab or CATH LAB , Trolleys, Operation Tables, and various surfaces of operation theater.

Dilution and fumigation

• 12.5 % solution ( 500 ml ESLOC BC 4 + 3.5 Liters of Water) for mopping or spraying on the surface or Fumigation for Environmental disinfection. The contact time of 20 to 30 minutes is allowed for disinfection to act properly.

• Articles suitable for surface disinfection are Sink, waste receivers, operation theater table OT lights OT furniture, floor, walls.

LOW-RISK AREAS

Low-Risk Areas:

• The following hospital sections are considered low-risk: Wards, Corridors, outpatient departments or OPD, Clinics, Mobile Units, Laboratories, and Dental Clinics. The same dilution is used for disinfection between the cases or for Emergency Disinfection.

Dilution and fumigation

• • 6.25% solution( 250 ml ESLOC BC 4 + 3.75 Liters of Water) for mopping or spraying on the surface or Fumigation for Environmental disinfection. The contact time of 20 to 30 minutes is allowed for disinfection to act properly.

EASY TO USE

• ESLOC BC 4 should be diluted in the required strength ( High Risk / Low Risk Area ). Then the area is disinfected with Fumigation machine.
• If a fumigation or fogging machine is unavailable, simply dilute ESLOC BC 4 as per the recommended strength, use a spray bottle and a mop, and disinfect the area thoroughly.
• Allow 30 minutes for the solution to act. Detailed dilution instructions can be found on the product label.
