
we provide Advanced Cataract Fellowship Programme at Sankara Nethralaya. the objective of the course is to enhance candidates’ skill in Advanced Cataract Microsurgical Techniques.
All Candidates perform around 8 -10 SICS & 12 – 15 Phacoemulsification Surgeries during their 2 month tenure. All surgeries are done under scrubbed – in supervision by a consultant of SN

No. of Batches per year: 3 Batches (Feb-March, April-May, June-July)
No. of Candidates: 10 candidates can be selected to undergo training in this programme
Educational Qualification: Ophthalmology PG Degree in MD, MS, DNB or DO recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi Candidates employed elsewhere should produce a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview and have the relevant certificates in the original.
