What exactly are our services ?:A state of the art wetlab facility which provides phacoemulsification training on animal eyes. Candidates will have exposure to the phaco machine at the centre prior to performing real time surgery. Access to various standard and high end phaco machines and foldable IOLs Structured classes on the maintenance and servicing of phacoemulsification machines and their accessories. Surgeries supervised by senior instructors until surgeon gains confidence to perform independent surgeries Postoperative review of cases by senior consultants. Various video assisted lectures including Phaco Dynamics, Phaco Techniques, Newer Phaco Technologies, Phaco in Challenging Cases, Newer IOLs etc Maintenance of case records for future personal use Updated library and video bank
What is the itinerary of the service package ?:1st week: Observing Phaco and performing SICS 2nd week: Phacoemulsification Step surgery under supervision 3rd & 4th week: Independent surgery and instructions on phaco machine maintenance by faculty from Qualified practicing Ophthalmologist with MS /DO degree from recognized university with very good experience in manual SICS surgery No. of Positions: 2 Nos. Duration: 1 Month Starting Date: 1st of every month No. of cases: Manual SICS-2, Phacoemulsification: 20

Who should seek our services ?:Candidates should have 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology after completing MS or DOMS in Ophthalmology and should have undergone SICS training at JPM
How can you avail our services ?:Applicants are requested to download the application forms from our website: www.jpmrotary.org and send the completed form to Course Coordinator by email. If you have difficulty in downloading the form you can contact the course coordinator to get the forms by email. (See contact info) Status of the application form will be intimated two-three weeks after the receipt of the application form.) For International Candidates ( MCI Process) It is mandatory for all the international candidates to get a temporary registration certificate from the Medical Council of India. This process will take minimum three months to complete and this process will be done through the organization only. JPM offers a state of the art wet lab facility which provides SICS training on cadaver eyes.Candidate will have training on cadaver eyes and Goat eyes at the wet lab prior to performing real time surgery.
