Comprehensive Ophthalmology Fellowship at Venu Eye Institute and Research Center, New Delhi.

Venu is an ISO 9001:2015 certified eye hospital. 

Venu is a university recognized teaching & training centre for post graduate and undergraduate teaching programmes for Doctors and Optometrists.

It is on the panel of over 98 Government and Public Sector Undertakings for eye health of their employees. Venu has developed a unique 3-tier service delivery network, in response to the felt need of the patient, to ensure quality eye care services reach the poor and needy in the rural areas. It has a tertiary Base Referral & Teaching Hospital in Delhi, 5 rural secondary level Satellite Hospitals and 9 primary level Vision Centres in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. It organizes 500 eye screening camps.

Since its inception Venu has treated *7.9 million patients and operated 0.48 million (* As on 31st March, 2019). 50% of patients are treated free. Income generated from the 50% paying patients subsidize the 50% free patients.

Comprehensive Ophthalmology Fellowship

Qualification for course: MS,MD,DNB

Duration of course: 2 years 

Course stipends: 1st year Rs. 22,000/per month 2 nd year Rs. 25,000/per month + Free meals & shared accommodation* 

How to apply ?

Apply with bio-data along with two recent passport size photographs and copies of testimonials.

Selected trainees will have to send 25% of the course fee by Cash / Demand Draft payable at VENU CHARITABLE SOCIETY, New Delhi after which the dates for the training will be confirmed.

The Institute has the right to reject an application at any stage. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 Mess charges Rs. 4500 per month (Pure vegetarian).

 Non AC Room Twin Sharing Rs. 5,500/- & Single Rs. 7,500/-

 AC Room Twin Sharing Rs. 10,500/- & Single Rs. 15,000/-
