    • Who should seek our services ?:Common symptoms are: Difficulty in performing day to day activitiesdue to blurred vision Painless, gradual, progressive blurring of vision. Vision may also be hazy or fuzzy. Discomfort or inability to see in bright light. Glare, halo or light sensitivity. Frequent changes in eyeglass prescription Poor night vision Needing a brighter light to read Double or multiple imageswhen seeing with one eye Dull or fading colors Changes in the color of the pupil of the eye from gray to white. Though none of these symptoms necessarily mean there is a Cataract, but if one experiences one or more of them, one should have their eyes examined by an eye care professional.
    • Our facility and technology ?:Multifocal Intra-Ocular Lenses are the latest cutting edge technological introductions in the family of Intra-Ocular Lenses. With routine Monofocal Intra-Ocular Lenses, you may be required to wear glasses for distant vision sometimes but will definitely need reading glasses. The advantage of Multifocal Intra-Ocular Lenses is that one becomes relatively free from using glasses both for distant and near vision. If you have a cylindrical power (Astigmatism), you have the option of TORIC Intra-Ocular Lens, which will help in correcting your Astigmatism to a certain extent. Now a days there is an option of combining both multifocal and toric lenses too. Conventional Cataract Surgery: In about 5% patients, where phacoemulsification is not possible (e.g.: very hard cataracts, grossly displaced lens, etc.) a conventional cataract surgery is done in view of the safety of the eye. This procedure involves removal of the cataract in one piece, results in an incision size of 10-12 mm and implanting of a non foldable Intra-Ocular Lens (IOL) and closure of this large incision with sutures. Since the size of the incision is relatively larger, this procedure is done under the effects of Local Anesthesia (administered below the eye, through an injection).
